I’ve just had the best hairdressing experience of my life! Steve is a talented and creative individual whose many other life experience and interests make him an engaging conversationalist (we had a number of interests in common!) and a very skilled hairdresser. More like a ‘hair expert’, really. He analyses and understands hair, and as he works on your hair and learns about it, he tells you about it in a way that can be quite revelatory.
After nearly five decades of going to hairdressers, not one has ever actually explained why my hair behaves the way it does, and what styling techniques can help.
Steve is also a colour expert and has given my hair subtle nuanced auburn tones that are just like my natural colour was – before the greys crept in! My hair is beautifully cut, gorgeously smooth and smells divine.
I wish there was a Steve Wynder in Victoria, but until he expands his hairdressing empire, I’ll certainly be making an appointment whenever I’m visiting the Sunshine Coast.

If you want a good haircut and colour I would highly recommend Steve Winder – he is the best cutter and colourist I have had for ages and the reason he so good, is his passion for hairdressing. It is so good to have such an outstanding hairdresser as I was thinking of going to Brisbane for my haircuts as it is hard to find good hairdressers on the sunshine coast. The best thing is I do not have to blow dry my hair I can leave it dry naturally and it just goes into the shape without much fuss and that is what I call a good cut.
