The Before Consultation
The Curly Haircut
After listing to Margaret and identifying that she needed a change, I suggested that we should shape the hair around her face as that was dragging her down, shorten the length, and put in lots of soft layers. This would help her curl start to come back to life and give her more curl and volume at the root. I suggested that her hair would look better if we were to create a diamond shape rather than the A-line shape because a diamond shape was more flattering and would suit her face better. The After

Cleansing We washed Margaret’s hair in Refresh CO Wash which is a beautiful, rich conditioning low poo cleanser designed to moisturise curly hair and to keep the hair soft and manageable. After using the Co-Wash we then moisturised with Amplify Conditioner a lightweight conditioner that will not weigh the hair down and hydrate the hair and leave a fabulous shine. Then a small peas size amount was left in the hair after conditioning. Styling Liquid Curls a fabulous lightweight anti-frizz gel serum was applied all over the hair and scrunched into the ends creating soft, defined frizz-free curls.Curly Hair Upstyle
One of the simplest and most popular hairstyles for naturally curly hair is the curly hair upstyle or the top knot. To achieve this look, simply gather your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic. Then, twist your hair up into a bun and secure it with another elastic. You can leave a few face-framing curls loose, or pull them back into the bun for a more polished look.

Cleansing
We used Amplify Shampoo Wash and Amplify Conditioner great on fine hair types and it will not weigh the hair down or make it feel heavy.
Styling
The hair was scrunch dried with Curl Enhancer especially formulated for naturally curly hair.
This styling creme sets curls in place without getting sticky or flaky.
The formula will not weigh down your hair and will speed up the drying process, instead, it seals in moisture and enhances natural waves and curls.
We also spritzed the hair with a light spray of multi spray. Multi-purpose Finishing Spray stops and halo frizz or flyaways while drying where the Curl Enhancer controls the curls.
The Low Ponytail
If you’re looking for a hairstyle that’s both stylish and practical, look no further than the low ponytail. This is a great option for busy mornings when you need to get your hair out of your face. To style a low ponytail, gather your hair at the nape of your neck and secure it with an elastic. Then, let a few face-framing curls fall loose for a soft, romantic look.
The Side Braid
A side braid is a great way to add some interest to your hairstyle while keeping your curls under control. To style, a side braid, start by gathering your hair to one side of your head. Then, French braid your hair along the side of your head and secure it with an elastic at the end. For a more bohemian look, leave a few face-framing curls loose.
The High Ponytail
A high ponytail is a great way to show off your curly locks. To style a high ponytail, gather your hair into a ponytail at the crown of your head and secure it with an elastic. Then, use your fingers to tease the hair at the crown of your head for added volume. Finally, let a few face-framing curls fall loose for a soft, romantic finish.
